While most of the landscapes in the city are man-altered, this group of
photographs focuses on the hidden trivial still life in the city. By taking inspiration from Wabi-Sabi aesthetics, the photographer utilizes the empty space in the frame to express the beauty of simplicity within the city
City Stills
This group of images focused on the unique appearances of the urban villages in the process of urbanization by comparing the old buildings and the new skyscrapers. The narrow skyline of the urban village contrasts with the open sky of the new city while exploring the relationship between
residential space and urban space, giving audiences a sense of integration and symbiosis between the old and new cities.
